Epicuticular wax deposition on leaf surfaces of three sorghum cultivars under well watered and drought conditions: A quantitative analysis

Abstract:

Quantitative analysis of epicuticular wax was carried out on three Sudanese sorghum cultivars grown in a controlled environment under drought and well watered conditions. Drought had no effect on the amount of wax in any of the cultivars, but cultivars which showed a bloom had markedly more wax than a bloamless cultivar.
